Young Authors’ Contest 

Does your child enjoy writing and want to show case their work?  Students in grades 1 through 5 can enter their short story or poem into the Young Authors’ Contest. The story needs to reflect their creativity and use appropriate language and story structure. If they would like to write a poem, it should be creative and have appropriate use of language and imagery. So, what are you waiting for?  Please see the flyer below for information about the rules and guidelines. All entries must have a completed coversheet sent as a PDF. Remember to write and type up your original story or poem, have a peer or adult edit your work, fill out the cover sheet/entry form, and turn it in by November 20, 2020. ¿A su hijo le gusta escribir y quiere mostrar su trabajo? Los estudiantes en los grados 1 a 5 pueden ingresar su cuento o poema en el Concurso de Autores Jóvenes. La historia debe reflejar su creatividad y utilizar el lenguaje y la estructura de la historia adecuados. Si les gustaría escribir un poema, debe ser creativo y tener un uso adecuado del lenguaje y las imágenes. ¿Entonces, Qué esperas? Consulte el folleto a continuación para obtener información sobre las reglas y pautas. Todas las entradas deben tener una portada completa enviada como PDF.
