IMPORTANT HEALTH NEWS
Parents,
As part of the Health Department's tracking of Influenza Like Illness in Howard County, schools are required to report numbers of student illness and symptoms.
Please remember to call (410-313-6872) or email the school at jhesabsence@hcpss.org , if your child will be out. Please let us know Yes or No if your child has:
1. a fever
2. a sore throat
3. a cough
We will be reading the emails every morning. Also, please remember that if a child has a fever, he/she needs to be fever free for 24 hours with no medication.
Please also continue to send a signed note with your child when (s)he returns from the absence.
Thanks so much for your help and support as we try to keep our children healthy.
