How to Schedule a Virtual Parent Teacher Conference

  • Conference scheduling will open on Nov. 13th. and close Nov. 19th.

  • You will schedule a conference with your child’s ELA teacher.  Parents of students in Ms. Strawhorn’s 4th grade GT math class will also be able to schedule a conference with Ms. Strawhorn at this time.  

  • Parents can also schedule conferences with Related Arts teachers. 

    • Art- Ms. Odom

    • Band- Ms. Shorb

    • General Music- Ms. Peak

    • Media- Ms. Yi

    • PE- Ms. Brown and Mr. Chen

    • Strings- Ms. Harris 

    • Technology- Ms. Griffin 

  • All conferences will be scheduled via HCPSS Connect

Dates and Times for Virtual Parent Conferences

  • Monday, Nov. 23rd 1:00-7:00 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Nov. 24th 1:00-7:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 25th 8:15 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

  • Please note that not all teachers may be available for all dates and times. 

Logging onto Google Meet for your Conference

  • You will use your child’s HCPSS credentials to join the conference.

  • To prevent “overlap” of conferences, teachers will be using Google Meet room joining security features. You may have to wait to be admitted into the Google Meet room. 

  • Google Meet Codes: You will see the meeting code for your conference in Synergy when you sign up for a conference. You will receive a reminder email with the room code from the Synergy system a few days before your conference.
