Confidentiality Training Course
Per Howard County Board of Education Policy, all volunteers must complete applicable trainings prior to any volunteering activities. Follow the steps below to complete this training before registering to volunteer at your child’s school or HCPSS office. Anyone volunteering in any way at Jeffers Hill Elementary School must take the following training and submit the certificates to the front office before they will be allowed to volunteer.

Child Abuse/Neglect Training Course
To ensure the well-being of our students, it is being requested that adults who come into the building and are in contact with children (including eating lunch with their child and seasonal celebrations) should receive the school's best faith efforts in getting everyone trained to maintain a safe and nurturing environment. Below you will find a 7-slide power point that should be viewed by all volunteers. There is also a link to the HCPSS page detailing information of parent, family and community involvement. We appreciate all the assistance we receive from our volunteers and appreciate your cooperation in making Jeffers Hill the safest learning environment possible.
