Note from Mrs. Strong 5/28/19

Note from Mrs. Strong:

We are counting down to the end of the school year.  Can you believe that we only have 18 more days.  As we wind down, please be sure to look out for end of the year information pertaining to your childs' grade level activities.  Also remember that we will dismiss at 12:30 pm on June 4th, June 19th, 20th and 21st.  Please be sure to communicate with your child about how they will get home.

Although school is coming to an end, keep in mind that learning continues.  This summer take advantage of local points of interest that you would not normally visit.  One area of interest that my family is hoping to visit is the Harriet Tubman Museum in Cambridge, Maryland.  Taking local field trips to educational and fun places is always a way to spend time together and learn something new.  Also fun outdoor activities, such as camping, fishing or hiking provide healthy alternatives to playing video games or watching television.  Whatever you decide to do this summer, think about ways that you can have fun, incorporate learning in your day and spend time with family and friends.  Oh and don't forget to read, read, read!

We look forward to seeing you during closing school events and hope that you have an enjoyable summer!
